Required Skills:

  • Plans, coordinates and manages program services to ensure a coordinated continuum of services for clients with a history of substance abuse. Assists to develop and implement the model program.
  • To provide group substance abuse prevention and intervention services to clients enrolled in DWI Program.
  • Coordinates a collaborative program, working with community groups, partner agencies and families.
  • Ensures that Medicaid reporting requirements are met; coordinates reporting, confirms accuracy of reports.
  • Coordinates statistical reporting for necessary funding source(s). Ensures that required monitoring is done.
  • Ensures that state certification requirements are met, coordinates reporting, and confirms accuracy of reports.
  • Maintain all documentation and monthly reporting forms as required by state certification and/or ACHC accreditation.
  • Attend and participate in all staff meetings.
  • Assist to evaluate and monitor all services given to clients in order to determine the accessibility and effectiveness of the service for the clients.
  • Perform other tasks as required.

For the DUI instructor, training consists of observing the eighteen hour DUI education component and providing this component under supervision. Comparable experience may involve employment in addiction treatment environments.

The Program Director is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration for program staff who provide accessible, gender and culturally-appropriate services for veterans and their families, people in recovery and /or homeless individuals identified by the program, with a specialization in homelessness prevention, rapid rehousing and transitional support services.

Develop and monitor the appropriate use of key linkages for veterans and their families that overcome barriers to access and address intake, assessment, service planning, service delivery and goal achievement for attainment or maintenance of permanent housing. Provide leadership for the team, especially training, supervision, problem-solving for difficult cases and case review.

He/She will be responsible for conducting the full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to foundation, federal and corporate sources.  This includes compiling, writing and editing grant applications, as well as developing templates to streamline the grant proposal process.

  • Five years of supervisory experience required.

  • Previous experience with non-profit fundraising required.
  • Experience working with veterans, people in recovery and/or homeless individuals preferred.
  • Operational experience in organizations working with Veteran Housing, Behavioral Health, Community Corrections, and Substance Abuse Services.

The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Consultant provides clinical, casework, individual and group services to individuals and their families by performing the following duties listed below. Additionally, the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Consultation is responsible for monitoring services and staff documentation to ensure consumers achieve their psychiatric recovery goals and that services are oriented to the individual needs of consumers served. Services are provided on-site, within the home, and in the community. The consumer receives assistance with developing life skills training to include organizational skills, time management skills, nutrition, budgeting, etc.

  • Completes assessment on clients’ social, emotional, financial, health, or other problems to develop rehabilitation treatment plan.
  • Develop and implements treatment plans with individual in services.
  • Counsels individuals, assisting them to identify and resolve problems and make effective use of resources.
  • Works closely with families of individuals and provides appropriate referrals for family members.
  • Develops and maintains contact with other agency staff and local service providers to promote coordination and integration of care.
  • Helps individuals understand mental illness and how it affects their health and life styles.
  • Maintain productivity requirements including monthly minimum visits and active caseload requirements.
  • Prepares and maintains written case records, reports, notes and other relevant documentation.
  • Performs case follow-up, closing, and performs other administrative tasks as required.
  • Participates in PRP management team.

Required Education:
